This is the shortest one of our retreats suitable for people who have limited time and still wish to experience a day filled with yoga and meditation activities in a peaceful and rejuvenating environment. If you are new to yoga, you will get a chance to experience the benefits and learn the fundamentals of this ancient practise as well as relax and unwind in a tranquil setting. If you are an experienced yogi, you will be able to deepen your practice, discover the wonders of bhakti yoga (kirtan), nada yoga (healing sound), yoga nidra (guided relaxation) and rejuvenate in a peaceful setting among like-minded people.
The day starts early morning with a meditation session where you get to experience one of many different styles of meditation which allows us to connect deeper with our inner landscape, gain clarity and inner calmness. This is followed by grounding practices in the garden and a morning yogic nasal cleanse ritual to clear our sinuses with the use of a neti pot and saline water. Many people report feeling more clarity, improved breathing and lightness as a result of this practice.
A morning yoga session follows which features pranayama breathing practice, dynamic sequences as well as static asanas. After breakfast, you are free to indulge in our wellness activities or other services that we provide.
In the afternoon you will be immersed in different activities which will be followed by the evening yoga program which is focused on flow with dynamic and more intense sequences and after this vigorous session you will be introduced to the practice of Yoga Nidra – a guided relaxation or yogic sleep which is deeply soothing and rejuvenating.
After dinner, we immerse ourselves in silence and you can experience the benefits of a silent meditation session in a cosy atmosphere and tranquil setting.
